If you're interested in getting more involved with Living Room, we would love to have you join our team as a volunteer. Our volunteers help at our special events and festivals, with social media promotion, and some administrative duties. We currently do not have any opportunities for volunteers to work directly with Living Room clients, but we appreciate that people care about our clients as much as we do. However, volunteering in other areas can be just as important. Helping build strong relationships with donors and our community makes it possible to give our clients the care they need.

About: Living Room will have a table at the Atlanta Pride Festival with engaging activities to educate the community about our mission to end homelessness for those living with HIV/AIDS. The weekend will be full of many other events geared toward promoting unity, visibility and self-esteem among lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and transgender and queer persons.
We will need volunteers willing to work 3 hour shifts during the festival which will be from 9:30AM-8PM on Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers will help with set-up, clean-up, and engaging festival attendees in our interactive survey. Each volunteer will be paired with a staff member for their shift.
Please email Erin Linley if you are interested, and or apply online (button below).
About: “Boosters” help educate and involve friends and family in our mission to end homelessness for people living with HIV/AIDS! This important role is easy to do from your couch, but invaluably helpful as Living Room expands our work to reduce barriers to housing faced by people living with HIV/AIDS. Throughout the year, social media boosters will be eligible for exclusive prizes and event invitations!
